We are backdating a 911 SC to an early non impact bumper 911. The car has had the wider SC arches removed and gone back to the earlier narrow bodied look. The car is in the early stages of the build so can still be finished to the requirements of the customer. Here are some pictures of the car before and after it went to the body shop.
The car has had the front slam panel changed to the earlier long bonnet & wings type using all original Porsche panels and the car has undergone the body and paint work and is now back with us for the build.
Whilst the car was being prepared we checked the engine over and have removed all the heavy emission injection and installed Weber type PMO carburettor. Also the exhaust system has been replaced with the much more efficient earlier system in stainless steel. The interior of the car will be finished with a lightweight carpet set (black) and fitted with period seats. The suspension and brake systems have been completely rebuilt. The engine & gearbox have also been rebuilt & the car is in the final process of being MOT'd and road tested.
