A must for any motorsport fans is a trip to the “Temple of Speed” or the Autodromo Nazionale Monza. The place has the most amazing atmosphere, plus the old banking is still there in all it’s glory. This was our second visit to Monza but I think knowing how good it is just added to the excitment.
We were running two cars this time. The first the 1964 Porsche 901 and the second a 1965 Porsche 911.
After a fantastic weekends racing the 64 car took the class victory and just missed out on the top 10 overall by finishing 11th. The 65 car had a great result as well finishing in the top half of the field 21st overall out of 49 starters. That leaves us in the 2.5ltr championship lead going into the summer break.
